National Paper Clip Day!

Well, well, well I have definitely heard it all.  Happy Paper Clip Day!  I suppose that it deserves a day to itself.  This truly versatile piece of equipment is an awesome device if you think about it.  Not only has it mastered its job of holding pieces of paper together so it does not get the tiny staple holes in it, but this perplexing instrument also has so many uses.   

Has your child ever locked themselves in the bathroom and you do not have a key?  Stretch out one of these paper clips and use it as a key to open the lock.  It does have to have the little hole in the handle to unlock.  Haha.

So as I sit here and think about all the things I have used the paperclip for other than the paper it truly does amaze me  I use them to hold my wrapping paper rolls closed because if you use tape it wrecks the paper.  I have also used it as a chip clip or any snack bag clip.  Have you ever need a screwdriver for your glasses when that little screw falls out, well here you have the paperclip again!  I just can't get over this wonder.  Why aren't they marketing all of its uses?
